BEHOLD OUR 2022 SCHOLARSHIP AWARDEES

It is with joy that we announce the recipients of the IGL CHARITY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP for the year 2022. These students have been selected based on their merits and grading of their essays and motivational statements. We encourage those who were not selected this time not to give up, but try again in the next call for application or look for other organizations offering scholarships to students. 

Miss Angela N. Okeke

Miss Okeke is from Imo State – Nigeria. She is a graduate with BSc in Biology from Cross River University of Technology, Calabar, Nigeria. She burns with the desire to further her studies in Health Sciences, so as to join the mission of preventing disease, promoting health and protecting the well-being of the public. After reviewing her application, IGL Charity Foundation has selected her as one of the recipients of this year’s Scholarship. We wish her well as she pursues her Master’s in Biological and Biomedical Sciences through a Scholarship from our Organization.

Onyinye Precious Reuben

Miss Onyinye Precious Reuben is 23 and an auxiliary nurse in a maternity. She has passion for the nursing profession because of her love for taking care of the sick, aged, and injured. She desires to go to a school of Nursing to learn more, so that she can add to the knowledge she has already gained in the maternity. We are very happy to help her achieve her desire of going to School of Nursing and pursing her career in the Nursing field. We wish her all the best in her studies.

Miss Sabina Chidinma Adim

Miss Sabina Adim is a 26-year-old Nigerian Youth from Okwelle. She had her bachelor's studies at Imo State University Owerri and graduated with a BSc in Microbiology. She is an orphan and struggled so much to see herself through her bachelors studies. She is very positive and has refused to give up on life despite the challenges she has been through. She dreams of furthering her studies to Masters level so that she can help her only surviving brother. It is our joy to help her achieve her dreams by offering her a scholarship to further her studies. We wish her every good thing life has got to offer as she prepares to pursue her Masters studies.

Mr. Mbachu Emmanuel

Mr. Mbachu Emmanuel is a Seminarian studying to become a priest of the Catholic Church. He studied at Seat of Wisdom Seminary Owerri and graduated with a B.A in Philosophy. Having served his home diocese for one year, he will be proceeding back to the seminary to begin his theological studies which will culminate in his ordination as a Catholic priest. Since Mr. Mbachu lost his mother who was his major sponsor, he has been having challenges with taking care of his bills in the seminary. After reviewing his application, IGL Charity Foundation has selected him as one of the recipients the 2022 Scholarship. we wish him success in his journey towards the priesthood.

Mr. Emmanuel Ebuka

Mr. Emmanuel Ebuka is a very talented young man with a diploma in Computer Science. He is very passionate about developing himself and building a career in the field of Computer Science. We are very happy to help him with a scholarship to achieve his desired dream of furthering his studies in Computer Science. We wish him the very best as he proceeds with his studies.

Mr. Jude Chinedu Madu

Mr. Jude Chinedu Madu is a Catholic Seminarian from Imo State-Nigeria. He had his philosophical studies at Seat of Wisdom Seminary Owerri (Affiliate of the Pontifical Urbaniana University Rome and Imo State University Owerri). He graduated with B.Phil from the Pontifical Urbaniana University Rome and B.A in Philosophy from Imo State University, Owerri. He also had his theological studies at Seat of Wisdom Seminary Owerri as a requirement for those preparing for the Catholic priesthood. Jude is very passionate about the priesthood and has been permitted by his diocese to pursue his master’s degree in theology, the completion of which will lead to his ordination as a Catholic priest. It is our joy to offer him a scholarship to aid him in his journey. We wish him well in his Theological Studies.
